Nous avons eu le plaisir de retrouver Salima Naji à l’internat de Tizi n’Oucheg à Aghbalou. Le village de Tizi n’Oucheg a pris l’initiative de créer son propre internat à proximité du collège/lycée d’Aghbalou.
Cette démarche vise à garantir l’accès à l’enseignement secondaire à tous les enfants du village. Grâce à la collaboration entre l’Association de Développement du Village de Tizi n’Oucheg (ATND) et des partenaires financiers, un espace d’hébergement a été construit pour tous les jeunes du village poursuivant leurs études secondaires.
Salima Naji a animé une conférence sur la construction en pierre dans la salle d’étude de l’internat de Tizi n’Oucheg, devant les jeunes résidents et les responsables des associations de développement de Tizi et d’Aourir. Cette présentation a été suivie par l’examen des plans du collège d’urgence, destiné à devenir un centre communautaire. Chaque représentant associatif a eu l’opportunité de partager son avis, et le groupe a engagé un débat constructif pour apporter les ajustements nécessaires.
Nous sommes ensuite monté au plateau de Timinkar, sur le site du futur centre communautaire au niveau du village d’Aourir. Les discussions ont porté sur l’emplacement précis de chaque bâtiment et sur le processus de récupération des pierres, que les artisans ont déjà commencé à collecter pour constituer le stock nécessaire à la construction. Pour ne pas faillir à la tradition d’accueil, un petit thé nous était servi sur place!

We had the pleasure of meeting Salima Naji at the Tizi n’Oucheg boarding school in Aghbalou. The village of Tizi n’Oucheg took the initiative of creating its own boarding school near the Aghbalou middle school/high school.
This approach aims to guarantee access to secondary education for all children in the village. Thanks to collaboration between the Tizi n’Oucheg Village Development Association (ATND) and financial partners, an accommodation space was built for all young people in the village pursuing their secondary studies.
Salima Naji gave a conference on stone construction in the study room of the Tizi n’Oucheg boarding school, in front of young residents and leaders of the development associations of Tizi and Aourir. This presentation was followed by reviewing plans for the emergency college, intended to become a community center. Each association representative had the opportunity to share their opinion, and the group engaged in a constructive debate to make the necessary adjustments.
We then went up to the Timinkar plateau, on the site of the future community center in the village of Aourir. The discussions focused on the precise location of each building and the process of recovering the stones, which the artisans have already started collecting to constitute the stock necessary for construction. In order not to break the tradition of welcome, a little tea was served to us on site!
